Individual
Many hackers are motivated by money. They have multiple different ways to hack individuals’ computer such as installing banking trojans which can steal their money when they are doing online banking. They can also install keyloggers, which can record everything including their name, credit card number, security code and so on. Thus, once they gain access to other people's important information, they can buy whatever they want using other people's bank account! Other hackers such as Vladimir Tsastsin, made more than $14 million by using a strain of malware generically known as DNS Charger to hijack victim computers for the purposes of redirecting Web browsers to advertisements that generated pay-per click revenue. As we can see, all these cyber attacks will result leaking of personal information and data and thus serious financial damage towards individuals.
